The majority of our blue chip clients including several national utility companies benefit from our complete remarketing service, which effectively manages the entire disposal process from advising us of an asset disposal requirement, through to the end of the sale process. The net sale proceeds either being paid directly to the client from the Auction House or via XBG depending on each client’s preference. Our objective is to become our client’s disposal team, as if operating within their business but without the associated cost.

The XBG service includes all pre-sale asset disposal administration, including dealing with any issues that arise from the point of collection. Our XBG clients are able to benefit from pre-booked special section sales at major auction centres all around the UK. This ensures all of our clients enjoy prime time auction sale slots at each sale fully managed by XBG staff, who have many years of experience in the profession. This ensures if our clients are selling 1 or 20+ assets, they will all be offered to prime audiences in a dedicated section of the sale and fully managed, alongside all of our other client stock. The provenance of the XBG stock offering has been built up over many years, enabling our clients to get the best market prices for their surplus vehicles and assets. Rostrum Management Services

XBG recognises that rostrum management is a key factor in maximising our clients sale proceeds at Auction. We can additionally offer an auction rostrum management service to Banks, Leasing Companies or other entities that have their own disposal team, but are unable to attend all the auction centres they use. This partial service gives companies the potential to increase their on-site representation at auctions at a fraction of the cost of employing their own full-time resource. Meet the team

Dave woods

Dave Woods and Paul Williams established XBG Fleet Remarketing back in January 2003, following a combined total of some 50 years within the Fleet Industry.

Dave says “With our deep understanding of the used asset market dynamics together with our experience gained during our time in senior roles within the Fleet and Leasing industry, the team at XBG are able to provide our clients with a fully professional remarketing service. In effect we become our clients ‘Disposal Department’, unencumbered by normal office hours!”.

Paul Williams

Paul Williams adds “We believe that XBG remains the only company to provide the depth of disposals and remarketing management in the industry. We can offer a truly bespoke service to out clients, to encompass all aspects of Remarketing.”

Andrew Timms

With the benefit of over 20 years experience as an Asset Manager in the Leasing Sector, I am able to utilise my wealth of asset knowledge in assisting our valued clients. XBG is a provider of professional asset disposal services, and I am proud to be a member of our small and dynamic team

Sue woods

After some 30 years as a teacher, I love working part time for XBG in my supporting role. I particularly love watching the dynamics at auction, fascinating places

Emily camacho-ferreria

Emily joined XBG in 2021 after over a decade as Cabin Crew with British Airways and is well versed in providing exceptional customer service. Emily gave up her flying career after having a family and now enjoys work closer to home with XBG, liaising with clients and suppliers to move and prepare assets to auction ready for sale.

Mark woods

Mark Woods joined the business as Financial Accountant back in 2004, having been an industry management accountant for 25 years.

Mark says “We understand the nature of the business for our clients, that they require a high level of financial management to ensure all assets are sold for the very best price, whilst minimising the risks involved.”

Sharon Timms

I enjoy working with our valued Clients and Auctions in my part time role. Providing good customer service is something that we pride ourselves on at XBG

Chris Gribble

Chris Gribble joins us on 1st July 2020 and has been an advisor to a FTSE100 Chairman for 20 years and therefore brings administration skills to XBG.

Julian Pullen

Julian joined us as Client Account Manager from CAP-HPI where he was Senior Editor for Commercial Vehicles. Prior to this he was Head of Remarketing at Redde Northgate PLC and comes with a wealth of previous experience in our field. Julian has a wealth of knowledge and plays an important part in our provision of Fleet Remarketing Services to our clients and suppliers.

Julian says: “It’s great to now be part of the XBG business that I have known and respected for so long. I look forward to continuing to make a valuable contribution to the high levels of service our clients have come to expect, while working with some of the best Remarketing partners in the business.”

Chris Garrett

Chris joined us in 2023 from his previous role as Senior Group Auctioneer at Manheim Auctions, having over 40 years’ experience of auctioneering and various other automotive roles. Chris is our Auction Remarketing Manager and is responsible for creating and managing auctions for our client stock around the UK which of course will include the all-important rostrum management.

Chris says: After I stepped away from being an auctioneer, XBG offered me the opportunity to become a member of the team, and I have never looked back. The company is full of experience, professional in all aspects and has a wealth of knowledge, every asset is treated as if it is one of our own to ensure that the maximum price is always achieved.

Helen Carroll

Helen joined us in 2023 as Client Services Manager and has over 25 years Auction experience, previously working for Manheim, Independent Motor Auctions and most recently as Assistant Branch Manager at Aston Barclay Leeds.

Over my years’ of auction experience I have met lots of people who, like me change companies and roles within the automotive sector but never change that part of working with auctions.

Working with the XBG team has a truly unique family feel to it. I feel respected, valued and my input to how we work is always considered. This has allowed me to use my knowledge, relationships and previous experiences to ensure that I can deliver to our clients the best level of service and not over promise the expectancy of the auction journey. Whilst still enjoying the buzz of sales.

Jennine Pevie

Jennine Pevie joined us in early 2024 and brings experience of Accountancy and management information.
